LATEST NEWS | Nathaniel Basey | Passes Advice to All Young Ministers “Please Don’t be in a Hurry to Sign Contracts”

He said So you’re a music minister about to sign a deal. It’s exciting, and no doubt the label or manager or producer on the other side are in a rush to get it done. You feel pressured to sign without properly checking it out – they seem trustworthy, it’s easier to assume everything will be ok and hope for the best, right? Worship leader and pastor Nathaniel Bassey has an advice for you on this.

Bassey, a world-renowned gospel artist, who is known for his musical talents and trumpet playing took to his social media platform to offer up advice to all young ministers. “When you start out newly, you’d see it as open doors. But many of these contracts are TRAPS!,” Bassey said.

“Especially be careful of those that come speaking in tongues and how they want to spread the kingdom of God. Always ask them to speak in English when it comes to agreement. Get a good and honest lawyer. Be prayerful. And don’t be desperate.”

Known for his songs “Imela” and “Onise Iyanu,” Bassey went on to conclude his advice on this, “Above all, move at the same pace with God. Don’t rush. You don’t want anything God won’t give you. I assure you. Just thought to share this before someone gets trapped!”

Just as our boss will say, the ability to play and write music is a rare gift. You are the talent, this is your future. Think smart and go hard!
