Nigerian gospel music minister, songwriter and worship leader, Mista J offers up a brand new song titled “Sai Godiya,” which translates to ‘I Praise Him’ in Nigeria native language (Hausa).
Mista J aka Jelkyes Joel is a music tutor, instrumentalist and an Evangelist. He lives and serve God with his family in Jos, Plateau State capital, Nigeria. Mista J, is also a teacher of the Word of God, who believes in the evangelical ministry of reaching out to the unsaved (most especially the youth) and the less privileged in cities and villages.
Speaking about his latest effort “Sai Godiya,” Mista J shares; “The believer sees God’s purpose fulfilled through the virgin birth of Christ, who gave salvation to an undeserving generation, gave hope to the hopeless, and meet the needs of the needy, fills the heart with joy, love and gratitude.’
He continues; “Consider the infliction of the pandemic, the downturn of events, as businesses crumbled, the upraising and the attacks, with many killed while some were injured, many don’t have home to stay in, others don’t have food to eat, yet you are here, safe, health and hearty, what more shall we say? The most appropriate word to say is “Sai Godiya” (Its Thanksgiving). Listen, sing along and be blessed!”
